Privacy Policy
PixPact is designed so that image compression happens in your browser, not on our servers.
Images and local processing
PixPact does not upload image files for compression. The file you choose is processed on your device by your browser. We do not store, view, or retain your source image or the compressed result as part of the PixPact service.
Your browser may keep temporary data while the page is open. Closing the page or clearing browser data is controlled by you and your browser settings.
Visitor analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregated website traffic and improve PixPact. This may include page views and coarse information such as referrer, device or browser category, and country-level location supplied by Vercel.
We do not send image contents, image filenames, or compressed image files to analytics. PixPact may send privacy-safe, aggregate events such as a selected output format or an approximate saved percentage; these events do not contain the image or filename.
Data retention and rights
PixPact does not retain your image files. Vercel controls retention for its infrastructure and analytics according to its service terms. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain personal data. Contact us first and we will route a request to the relevant provider when applicable.
Third parties and future changes
Vercel provides hosting and visitor analytics for this site. If we add advertising, new analytics, accounts, or cloud processing, we will update this policy and the Cookie Policy before those changes take effect.
Questions and requests
For a privacy question or request, email privacy@pixpact.top. Do not send image files, passwords, or other sensitive information unless it is necessary for your request.
